Getting started
- How do I start with JOXU?Installation, location, inverter, tariff and Energizer.
After your first sign-in JOXU walks you through a short checklist. Skip optional steps with I'll do this later.
1. Create an account and confirm the link in the email. The link works once, for 24 hours.
2. Name your installation and search your town under Location. Without a location there is no solar forecast.
3. Connect your inverter on Devices (GoodWe or Growatt).
4. JOXU uses the dynamic day-ahead price by default. If your contract differs, set it on Prices.
5. In Energizer choose Profit or Self use for your battery. The other controls can stay on their defaults.
- Can I watch first without JOXU controlling anything?Yes. Read only measures and plans but changes nothing.
Yes. Turn JOXU writes off on Plan, or press Read only: stop everything on the Dashboard. JOXU keeps measuring and planning but changes nothing on your devices. Writes back on hands control back to JOXU.
- What do Auto, Manual, Read only and Holiday mean? The four choices you meet for battery, hot water and charger.
Auto (or Auto JOXU): JOXU follows the plan and controls the device itself.
Manual: you operate the device. JOXU plans nothing for it.
Read only: JOXU watches and measures but changes nothing.
Holiday: JOXU skips hot water or charging until you are home.
SOC is how full a battery is, in percent. A Heat is a moment when the tank deliberately heats tap water.
Dashboard
- What do I see on the Dashboard?Live power, battery, price, plan, hot water and car.
The Dashboard shows live what your home is doing. On a phone it is called Home.
Energy flow: power between sun, grid, house, battery, car and hot water.
Battery: a ring with the charge level and the controls.
Price and cost: the price now, the cheapest and dearest moment and what you pay today and this month.
Price and plan: today's chart and what JOXU does next.
Hot water and Car: the tank, the next Heat and the car's charge level.
- How do I choose what the Dashboard shows?Customise turns cards on or off and moves them.
Tap Customise to turn cards on or off and move them. The choice is stored in your account per phone, tablet or screen. On a phone you also pick a home screen style: Remote, Energy flow, Tiles, My day or One button.
- How do I control the battery myself?Choose Auto JOXU, Charge, Discharge or Hold.
If your inverter has a battery attached, the Dashboard offers four modes.
Auto JOXU: JOXU follows the energy plan. This is the normal mode.
Charge: the battery charges at the power you set with the slider.
Discharge: the battery supplies power at the level you set.
Hold: the battery stays on standby.
The slider only works for Charge and Discharge. Switch back to Auto JOXU afterwards, otherwise your choice stays in place.
- How do I stop all control at once?Read only: stop everything on the Dashboard.
Press Read only: stop everything on the Dashboard. JOXU then stops controlling battery, tank and charger; measurements continue. Writes back on hands control back to JOXU. The same switch is JOXU writes on Plan.
Plan
- How do I read the chart on Plan?Solid is measured, dashed is plan or forecast.
The Site horizon chart puts price, solar, house load, battery and charge level side by side. Pick the range with 12h, 24h, 36h or 48h.
Solid lines and bars are measurements. Dashed lines are the plan or a forecast. The NOW line marks the current moment.
With a tank or car you also see Hotwater Heat, Predicted tank and Drive Plug. Tomorrow's prices arrive around 13:00; later days are a forecast.
- What is in the table on Plan? What the battery does each quarter hour, with price and charge level.
Each quarter hour shows what JOXU does: Self-use, Charge, Discharge or Hold, with the price and the expected charge level. You can also pick another battery stand or Self use profile right in the table; JOXU recalculates at once.
- When do I press Optimize?Only when you do not want to wait for the next quarter hour.
JOXU recalculates the plan every quarter hour with the latest prices, solar forecast and measurements. Press Optimize if you do not want to wait, for example after a change. Saving a setting in Energizer also recalculates at once.
- What is Week ahead?Solar and price per day for the next seven days.
Week ahead shows, per day, expected solar, the lowest, average and highest price, the cheapest and dearest two hours and an indicative battery margin. Tap a day for the hours. It is an outlook; the plan decides what the battery really does.
- What does the JOXU writes switch do?On lets JOXU control your devices, off is Read only.
On: Auto JOXU follows the plan and controls inverter, tank and, where allowed, the charger. Off: Read only. JOXU changes nothing but keeps measuring and planning.
Home battery
- Profit or Self use: which do I choose?Profit earns from price differences, Self use keeps your costs down.
In Energizer you choose one goal for your battery. JOXU recalculates the plan right after.
Profit: for a dynamic contract. JOXU charges at cheap moments, also from the grid, and uses or sells the energy when it is expensive. Only when that still pays after losses.
Self use: you mainly want to pay little and use your own solar. JOXU stores solar for later in the house and avoids expensive imports.
- What is the difference between the Profit stands? From Mad-Steve (most active) to Battery Saver (calmest).
Mad-Steve: trades even on small price differences and uses full power. The most active stand.
Gold Rush: looks for profitable dips and peaks, also at night, and can charge to 100% on a strong opportunity.
Chargegasm: looks for strong opportunities, with extra restraint on frequent switching and high power.
Balanced: balances trading profit and calm battery use. Recommended for daily use.
Battery Saver: keeps the average charge lower and trades cautiously.
The ⓘ next to each stand shows this in the app as well.
- What is Custom (Energy Expert Tuner)?Your own mix with six faders.
Custom is your own Profit stand. Start from a stand and adjust six faders: Trade, Reserve, Peak, High, Stress and Late fill. Only Custom lets you change the profit target yourself.
- Why does the battery sometimes not trade? Each stand only buys extra energy when it pays enough.
Each stand has a fixed profit target: JOXU only buys extra energy when it still pays enough after losses. Under Why does the battery trade or skip? in Energizer you see, per opportunity, whether it was planned or skipped and why.
- What do I choose for Self use?A profile and how much risk JOXU takes with the solar forecast.
Choose a profile: Pure, Solar Max, Smart, Balanced or Cost Aware. Then choose how much risk JOXU may take with the solar forecast: Safe, Normal or Flex. You can do this in Energizer and right in the table on Plan.
- What are house load, main breaker and EV Grid Rewards?Other battery settings in Energizer.
House load: leave it on Automatic; JOXU learns your usual load from the last seven days. Or enter fixed watts.
Main breaker and inverter: how much you may import at most and what the inverter can handle. JOXU always stays below that.
EV Grid Rewards (on by default): while the car charges, the battery only discharges for the house, not for the car.
Hot water
- How does JOXU Hot water work? The tank heats tap water on the cheapest hour.
JOXU lets your heat pump or tank heat tap water on the cheapest hour. It is about tap water only; your space heating stays as it is. Settings live in Energizer on the Tank and Heat card, quick controls on the Dashboard.
The day has three parts: Night (00–07), Day (07–17) and Evening (17–24). In each part that is on, JOXU plans a Heat on the cheapest hour. In between the tank slowly cools to the rest temperature.
The cheapest moment of the day gets the highest temperature. JOXU learns how fast your tank heats and plans the Heat as long as needed, 15 minutes to 2 hours. A Heat does not move because the car charges or the battery discharges. JOXU never uses the immersion heater.
- Which hot-water mode do I choose?Auto is the normal mode.
Auto: JOXU plans the Heats and controls the tank.
Manual: you operate the tank from the Dashboard. JOXU plans nothing.
Read only: JOXU shows the tank temperature but controls nothing. Settings are locked.
Holiday: JOXU skips every Heat until you are back.
If JOXU writes is off on Plan, JOXU does not control the tank even in Auto.
- Why do I need to enter the tank volume?JOXU never guesses the litres.
Under Tank and reserve, enter how many litres your tank holds, for example 200 L. JOXU never guesses this. Without the volume the Optimum stand does not work and JOXU cannot work out how much hot water is left.
- Which hot-water stand suits me?From Mad Leo (always hot) to Eco (lean).
Mad Leo: 3 Heats, cheapest to 55 °C, the others 45 °C. Always hot, large household.
Comfort: 3 Heats, cheapest to 53 °C, the others 45 °C. Never a cold shower.
Optimum: 1 or 2 Heats, 53 °C plus a 47 °C support Heat only when needed. Self-learning and lean.
Normal: 2 Heats (night and day), cheapest to 50 °C. The default.
Eco: 1 Heat a day at 50 °C, rest drops to 42 °C. Small household.
Custom Tuner: your own mix.
- What does Optimum do?One good Heat, plus a support Heat only when needed.
Optimum plans one good Heat on the cheapest hour. Only when hot water would otherwise run short does it add a lower support Heat. Choose which shower moment that support Heat protects: Auto (JOXU learns your tap moments after 14 days), Morning (05–11), Midday (11–17) or Evening (17–23). Optimum needs the tank volume.
- How do I set temperatures and Heat moments myself?Any change of your own makes the stand Custom Tuner.
If you change the number of Heats, the parts of the day or the temperatures, the stand becomes Custom Tuner automatically. Temperatures can only be set yourself in Custom Tuner. JOXU never goes below 42 °C.
- How do I read the tank timeline?24 hours of measured and predicted temperature and the Heats.
The card shows the current tank temperature and a 24-hour timeline: measured temperature until now, predicted temperature from now, the planned Heat blocks with the reason for each moment, the 42 °C floor and a price strip. Next Heat is shown at the top. Without a plan there is no timeline; JOXU does not invent data.
- How does Legionella work?Off, or a verified 60 °C cycle every 7 or 30 days.
Choose Off, Every 7 days or Every 30 days (default 30). JOXU records when the tank really had a cycle: when the device reports it, or when the tank was at least 60 °C for an hour. Without a cycle in time, JOXU plans one 60 °C Heat on the cheapest moment.
With Off JOXU plans nothing; make sure your heat pump runs its own Legionella programme. The device's own protection always stays in force.
- What do Heat pump, Tap water and Force DHW do?The manual buttons on the Dashboard.
When you choose Manual on the Dashboard, extra buttons appear.
Heat pump on or off: off switches the whole unit off.
Tap water on or off: off stops only hot tap water; the house can stay heated.
Force DHW: the tank heats water now. Heat pump and tap water switch on as well.
The slider sets the target temperature.
- What does Boost to 50 °C do?The tank to 50 °C now, for at most one hour.
Press Boost to 50 °C on the Dashboard. JOXU heats the tank to 50 °C right away, for at most one hour, then returns to your normal settings. Stop boost ends it early.
If the tank is already at 50 °C or warmer you see Target already reached. A warmer planned Heat or Legionella cycle is kept. Boost does not work in Holiday, Read only or with writes off.
- What are switch-on margin, comfort guard and extra storage?Advanced settings on the Tank and Heat card.
Switch-on margin (°C): how far the water may cool before the heat pump heats again on its own. Not every brand lets JOXU change it; then you see Locally adjustable only.
Comfort guard: would start a short heating run when the tank drops too far below rest temperature. It is not yet enabled for any device, so nothing starts automatically yet.
Extra economical storage: JOXU may heat the tank a few degrees extra at a cheap moment when you expect heavy use later. Enter the expected extra use and the moment.
- What is the JOXU Heatline? How long your tank takes to cool 1 °C.
Under Learning and log you see how many minutes your tank takes to cool 1 °C when nobody draws water, per quiet day. Longer means your tank holds heat better.
- The water is cold. What now?Press Boost to 50 °C.
Press Boost to 50 °C on the Dashboard. If it keeps happening, choose a warmer stand such as Comfort or Mad Leo, or point the Optimum support Heat at your shower moment.
- Why does the tank heat in the middle of the night? That is when electricity is cheapest.
JOXU picks the cheapest hour, which is often at night. The reason is shown with the Heat block in the timeline.
- I am going on holiday. What about hot water?Set hot water to Holiday.
Set hot water to Holiday; JOXU then skips every Heat. Switch back to Auto when you are home and press Boost to 50 °C if needed.
- Which Vaillant settings should I check on the display?Distinguish your hot-water choices from installer settings.
On a compatible sensoCOMFORT, open MENU → CONTROL → Domestic hot water. Check the mode and target temperature. Manual uses the selected target continuously; Time-controlled follows Vaillant’s own hot-water windows. Choose this to suit your intended JOXU control. If a DHW preset is available, Comfort uses the selected temperature; Eco may deliberately use a lower temperature after water is drawn.
For a uniTOWER split VWL 58–128/5 IS with a system controller, manual 0020257285_05 describes a normal hot-water target of 50–55 °C with functioning legionella protection and an electric auxiliary heater for that protection. This is not a universal setting for all Vaillant models. The separate installer questions cover hysteresis, charging offset, maximum charging time, blocking time and electric auxiliary heating with the relevant model conditions. Menus vary by model. This guidance does not change those service settings through JOXU.
- When should my Vaillant heat the water again?A temperature threshold creates demand; a waiting period does not guarantee a start.
In normal hot-water control, charging demand occurs below the target minus hysteresis, provided operation is permitted. A target of 53 °C and hysteresis of 3.5 K give a threshold of 49.5 °C. Hot-water mode, Comfort/Eco and any active time window also matter.
The sensoCOMFORT manual describes the blocking time as following expiry of the maximum cylinder charging time. You can calculate a possible release time only if that end time is known. For example, maximum charging time expiring at 08:15 with a 70-minute blocking period gives 09:25 as a possible release time. A cancelled JOXU boost does not prove that this timer started. Other conditions and compressor prerun may delay the start.
Check the source timestamp: a repeated temperature is not a new measurement. The temperature may fall during a shower even while heating is active. A boost flag or pump command does not prove that the compressor is running. Have the device status, measured flow temperature and electrical input checked if needed.
- Can every Vaillant cylinder reach 60 °C using only the heat pump?Check the exact model and auxiliary heater.
No. For the uniTOWER split VWL 58–128/5 IS, manual 0020257285_05, page 73, lists a maximum cylinder temperature of 57 °C using the heat pump and 75 °C using the auxiliary heater. The same manual describes electric auxiliary heating for legionella protection. Other Vaillant generations may have different limits.
A 60 °C target or an active hot-water boost therefore does not prove that 60 °C was reached or that the electric heater is operating. If the higher target is not reached, ask your installer to check the appliance combination, connections, permissions and legionella protection. Installers can find permission, power limits and operating checks in the separate auxiliary-heater questions. The JOXU target, measured cylinder temperature and a completed protection cycle are separate facts.
- Which installer settings control my Vaillant electric auxiliary heater?Hot-water boost, heater permission and electrical power are separate settings.
For the uniTOWER split VWL 58–128/5 IS: a hot-water boost is a one-off cylinder demand, not a direct command to switch on the electric element. On sensoCOMFORT, open MENU → SETTINGS → Installer level → Installation configuration → System. Check Auxiliary heater: Domestic hot water permits DHW support; DHW + heating also permits space-heating support. Match the permitted use to the actual system design.
The DHW bivalence point describes outdoor-temperature-dependent parallel support (reference factory setting −7 °C). It is not a universal legionella or boost threshold. Auxiliary heater type must match the installed heat source and is relevant to the triVAl hybrid-manager setting in this manual. A CONDENSING cloud label alone therefore does not prove that the electric heater is configured incorrectly. Temporary auxiliary heating is a separate temporary/emergency function; off does not mean all normal electric support is disabled.
On uniTOWER, open Menu → Installer level → Appliance configuration. The /5 manual lists installer code 17. Check the heater power limit there and also verify the actual supply. The heating-element supply setting is listed in the installation assistant; its 230 or 400 V record must match the actual connection. For the 12 kW version, the settings table lists 1–6 kW at 230 V and 1–9 kW at 400 V, with separate actual power stages. The correct limit depends on the supply, protective devices and other loads; do not automatically select the maximum. See 0020257285_05, pp.42, 58–59 and appendices L/M on p.68. Settings for operation without a system controller may be hidden when sensoCOMFORT is connected.
- How can an installer check whether the Vaillant auxiliary heater is operating?Read permission, status and power separately; a delay may apply only to space heating.
The uniTOWER split /5 manual describes automatic, demand-dependent electric auxiliary heating. The electric auxiliary heater must be available for legionella protection; this family lists a maximum cylinder temperature of 57 °C using the heat pump. Assess a higher DHW demand together with electric-heater permission and the measured outcome.
S.133 means DHW prerun/start conditions; S.134 means compressor active for DHW; S.135 means electric heater active for DHW; S.152 means electric heater blocked for DHW. Read the current heating-element power and its operating hours, switching count and total electrical-energy statistics. Energy and hours are cumulative: compare before and after values. Use measured flow, return and cylinder temperatures to assess the thermal result.
Also check the energy-supplier setting and contact status for an external block. The sensoCOMFORT auxiliary-heater switch-on delay (reference 30 minutes) is described on p.130 for space heating below the bivalence point; do not treat it as a proven DHW waiting period. The indoor unit DHW mode (ECO/normal) and the controller DHW preset (Comfort/Eco, where available) are separate settings. Do not restart the installation assistant just to read values: heating and DHW requests are blocked while that assistant is active. This guidance runs no test programme and changes no setting.
JOXU Drive
- How do I add my car to Drive?Link a real car or create a dummy car.
The Drive tab shows your chargers with the car plugged into each.
Link a real car: Audi, BMW, Lynk & Co or Tesla, via Devices. JOXU reads the charge level and sees when the car is plugged in. JOXU never controls the car.
Create a dummy car: a car without a link, with a name, battery size and charge level you enter yourself.
Create a dummy charger: see what an extra charger would do. Nothing is sent to a device.
More cars? Drag a car onto a charger. JOXU plans one car at a time; the linked car on the home charger comes first.
- What do Charge level, Target SOC and Minimum SOC mean?Your car's settings in Drive.
Charge level now: how full the car is now. A linked car reports it automatically; if it is wrong, use Correct charge level.
Target SOC: how full the car must be at departure.
Minimum SOC: below this JOXU always charges first, whatever the price.
Net battery: the usable battery size. Charge limit: the maximum current; 16 A is about 11 kW on three phases. Phases: Automatic uses 1 phase when there is little room.
Everything saves automatically. Tap outside the field after entering a number.
- Price or Sun: what is the difference?Cheapest hours or your own solar surplus.
Price: JOXU charges at the cheapest moments before departure.
Sun: JOXU charges from the expected solar surplus after house and home battery. If that is not enough, JOXU tops up cheaply before departure.
With a price ceiling (ct/kWh) JOXU always charges when the price drops below it. Empty means off.
- How do I set my departure times?A departure time and the kWh you drive, per day.
Under Weekly trips choose a departure time (hour and minutes) per day and how many kWh you drive that day. No trip? Choose No trip. Copy Monday to weekdays fills the working week in one go.
- How do I read the charging chart?Price on the left, the car's charge level on the right.
When does the car charge shows price on the left in ct/kWh and the charge level on the right in percent. You see the planned charge blocks, departures, measured charging and, in yellow, expected solar. Pick a range of 1 to 7 days. After tomorrow JOXU uses a price forecast, dashed.
- What does Charge now do?Charge at full power to your target now, for at most 12 hours.
Charge now charges the car at full power to your target right away, for at most 12 hours. Stop charge now returns to the plan. JOXU never exceeds your main breaker.
- Does JOXU really control my charger?Only a Zaptec Pro or Go 2, when enabled for your installation.
Per charger you choose Auto (JOXU follows the charging plan), Manual (you start, pause and pick the current), Read only (the default) or Holiday.
Today JOXU can only operate a Zaptec Pro or Go 2, and only when this is enabled for your installation. For other chargers, and while Trial mode is shown, JOXU calculates the plan but does not control the charger. Live control means JOXU drives the Zaptec from the plan.
- How do I charge manually with a Zaptec?Start or pause, pick current, phases and until when.
In Manual you choose Start charging or Pause, the current (6 to 32 A), the phases and until when: I stop, a time, an amount of kWh or a SOC %. A session lasts at most 12 hours. After a phase switch the phase can change again only after 30 minutes. Unplugging the cable stops charging.
- What are load balancing and the emergency control?House, battery and car share one connection.
Under Load balancing in Energizer you state whether your battery makes room itself and whether JOXU may turn the charger down when the house draws a lot. Balancing is on by default.
Each charger also has an emergency control: it only lowers charging when your connection is more than 15% overloaded for over 60 seconds.
- Why is my car not charging at the current I chose? The main breaker, a fresh meter, phase dwell or the car's own limit can hold the current down.
JOXU never asks for more than the installation breaker allows. A stale electricity meter pauses the charger. After a phase change the other phase stays locked for 30 minutes. The car can also stop below the current you chose.
Devices
- Which devices can I connect?Inverter, panels, battery, charger, car, tank and JOXU Edge.
On Devices (under More on a phone) tap Add, choose what to connect and then the brand. You use the sign-in of the app you already have for that device; JOXU stores passwords encrypted.
Inverter: GoodWe, Growatt. Charger: Zaptec, Easee, Tesla Wall Connector. Car: Audi, BMW, Lynk & Co, Tesla, or battery only. Hot water: MELCloud (Mitsubishi), Viessmann, Vaillant, Daikin. Panels and home battery belong to an inverter. Smart meter (P1) is coming soon.
Manage on a device card changes settings or disconnects the device.
- How do I link my car?First a charger, then the brand.
A car is linked to a charger, so add a charger first. Most brands give you a code to confirm on the brand's own sign-in page; your password never reaches JOXU. JOXU only reads the charge level and whether the cable is in.
Lynk & Co allows one signed-in device per account. Use a second account the car is shared with, otherwise your phone app signs out. BMW first needs your own CarData client in the My BMW app.
- How do I connect my heat pump? With the account of your current heat-pump app.
Use the account of the app you control your heat pump with today: MELCloud, ViCare, myVAILLANT or Daikin Onecta. For Viessmann you first create your own client in the Viessmann Developer Portal; the Viessmann API client guide on Support walks you through it.
- What is the JOXU Edge?A small box that controls your inverter over your own network.
The JOXU Edge controls your inverter over your own network, faster and more reliably than through the manufacturer's cloud. Support has three guides: Original JOXU Edge (ready to use, only Wi-Fi and pairing), USB first flash and Remote update.
Devices · solar panels
- What does Loss (%) meanDirt, wiring and mismatch. 14% is typical; panel Wp stays the same.
Loss is the DC system derate JOXU applies to forecast watts: dirt, wiring and mismatch. Panel count × Wp stays the STC nameplate. 14% is a typical PVWatts starting point; 0% is a clean theoretical roof.
- What is Wp per panelNameplate watts of one module at STC.
That is the nameplate watts of one module at STC, as printed on the panel. Multiply by the panel count for the inverter STC. Loss does not change this number.
- What is Tilt (°)Roof pitch from horizontal. 0° is flat.
Tilt is the roof pitch from horizontal. 0° is a flat roof. A typical tiled Dutch roof sits around 30–45°.
- What is OrientationRoof facing. Z is south (180°).
Orientation is the roof facing. Z is south (180°), O east, W west, N north. East-West (OW) splits the array half and half.
- What does Panels meanHow many modules are wired to this inverter.
How many modules are wired to this inverter. Only this inverter’s array. A second inverter has its own panel count.
Prices and costs
- How do I set up my electricity contract? On Prices: area, tariff, mark-up and VAT.
On Prices choose your installation and Nord Pool area (NL for the Netherlands). Choose your tariff: dynamic, day and night or a fixed price, and enter mark-up and VAT as on your contract. Press Save tariff; JOXU then uses your real price.
Under Contract and monthly check you can enter the amounts from your supplier statement. JOXU then shows whether its calculation matches.
- How do I read the price chart?Solid is published, dashed is a forecast.
The chart shows the bare market price for 1d, 3d or 7d. Published prices are solid, forecast prices dashed. Tomorrow's prices arrive around 13:00. The table below shows, per period, the market price, your Buy price and your Sell price.
- What is Electricity cost? What you pay for electricity per day, without fixed charges.
Electricity cost is imports minus exports, on your tariff and including VAT, without fixed charges. You see it on the Dashboard and History. Today is an estimate until midnight. A past day is frozen after midnight and does not change. This month adds the closed days plus today.
History
- What do I see on History? How solar, load, grid, battery and car went.
History shows solar, house load, grid import and export, the battery and car charging for Today, 7 days or 30 days. JOXU modes shows how many hours the battery spent in Self-use, Charge, Discharge or Hold. The table shows daily or quarter-hour totals, and for 7 and 30 days the forecast solar next to measured solar. Missing measurements stay empty and are never shown as zero.
- What does Autarky meanShare of house, EV and pack charge not imported.
Autarky is the share of house load, EV charge and battery charge that did not come from the grid: 1 − import / (house + EV + pack charge). 100% means that demand was covered by solar and the pack. 0% means it was imported. JOXU floors the chip at 0% when import exceeds the recorded site use, instead of showing a negative share.
- What does Self-consumption meanShare of solar that stayed in the house, not exported.
Self-consumption is the share of solar that stayed in the house instead of being exported: (solar − export) / solar. It is the solar-side twin of Autarky, which is demand-side.
Profile and help
- What do I set on Profile?Language, two-step verification and the Kill switch.
Language: choose English or Nederlands under Portal language, or with the flag at the bottom of the page.
Two-step verification: turn on an authenticator app. Keep the recovery codes safe; JOXU shows them once.
Kill switch: stops all control and reading, wipes your data and deletes your account, after your password and the word DELETE. This cannot be undone. To pause only, use Read only.
- How do I get help?Through LJ at the bottom right, the FAQ or a report.
LJ, the JOXU helper, always sits at the bottom right with guides, this FAQ, look-along and a report form. LJ is not a chatbot.
Look-along: give the JOXU team temporary permission to view your installation, 24 hours to 365 days. They can only look and you can revoke it at any time.
Something broken? Describe it under Log and support on your Profile or through LJ and pick the module. The data needed to investigate goes along; passwords do not.
